Announcing Actuate presented by Foxglove

We’re excited to announce Actuate, a one-day conference in San Francisco for robotics and embodied AI developers. We would love for you join us to hear from some of the top minds in robotics, including Vijay Badrinarayanan (VP of AI @ Wayve), Sergey Levine (Associate Professor @ UC Berkeley, Co-founder @ Physical Intelligence), Chris Lalancette (ROS 2 Technical Lead, Intrinsic), and more.

Besides incredible speakers, our attendees (you!) will make the event. Some of the best conversations are unstructured — in hallways and during breaks — so we’re bringing together robotics engineers from across the industry to discuss common challenges and solutions to accelerate robotics development.

Why another conference, you might ask? Most robotics conferences today are either academic (focused on research), trade shows (focused on selling systems), or focused around a particular library or framework. We feel there is a lack of content from developers in the industry — a place to discuss lessons learned scaling from prototype to production. Topics will cover different embodiments (humanoids, autonomous mobile robots, underwater vehicles, and drones), industries (logistics, agriculture, self-driving, and defense), and disciplines (manipulation, navigation, simulation, and the latest advances in AI). While this surface area is broad, robotics is an inherently multidisciplinary field and we feel that bringing together high quality speakers from across the industry will make for an intellectually challenging and stimulating day.

Bridging the Practicality Gap

Actuate will focus on technical content that addresses the challenges in autonomous robotics development and deployment. Attendees will hear first-hand learnings from the leading robotics developers in the industry, sharing their experiences, workflows, and best practices on perception, navigation, planning, AI, and more.

Interested in speaking? Fill out this form and we will send you the information to submit a proposal. The submission deadline is June 18th, 2024.

Connecting the Developer Community

In addition to technical presentations from industry leaders, there will also be a sponsored lunch and cocktail reception to network with peers. With attendance from pre-seed robotics startups through Fortune 500 companies, there will be a wide breadth of experience and talent in the room. Take time to chat with the presenters, connect with sponsors and investors, and share experiences with fellow developers.

Interested in our sponsorship packages? Fill out this form and we will send you the different packages and pricing.

Register Today

Registration is now open for Actuate! Only 150 tickets are available at an early bird price of $149. After early bird tickets sell out, prices will increase to $299.

Embark on this journey with us, harness the collective expertise of industry veterans, and drive the future of robotics into a new era of innovation. We look forward to seeing you at Actuate.
